            MARBLE   SCULPTURE

Marble figure of Napoleon after famous painting by Jacques-Louis David was created by prof. A. Petrilli in Florence, Italy in last quarter of 19th c.
There is a description incised on the base of this sculpture -
"Le Jour de Glorie es't arrive". Size 39 in tall and 36 in long and weight about 400 lbs.
Figure was restored few times before was delivered to our studio - both front legs, Napoleons hand and horse tail were restored before - front horse legs and Napoleons hand were broken off. Finger from Napoleon's hand and some parts of horse harness were broken off and missing. Figure was first cleaned , broken parts were mounted back, missing parts restored. Finally small retouches were done.
